Chainlink Fence Construction

Chainlink fence construction involves setting metal posts securely into the ground, usually set in concrete, to form a stable framework. Galvanized or vinyl coated steel wire is woven into a diamond pattern ans stretched tightly between terminal posts, creating a strong yet flexible barrier. Tension bars and fittings are used to secure the wire to the posts, ensuring the fence remains taut. The top is reinforced with toprail and the bottom with either tension wire or bottom rail, for added stability and durability, making it a reliable choice for security and containment.

How to Design Your Chainlink Fence

Layout

We need to figure out where we want to put the fence, whether that is enclosing your entire yard or just a portion. This is the very first step.

Sizing / Height

After we have the layout, we need to know what height the fence needs to be, 6 feet high to keep pets in, or wild animals out; or maybe you just need 4 feet high to define your property lines?

Color

All your framework and chainlink wire can come in a number of colors and weights. There is Residential Grade, Commercial Grade, and Industrial Grade.

Colors include- Galvanized, Black, Brown, Green or White

Options

Options include upgrading your hinges and latches to self-closing for pool code, upgrading the bottom tension wire to bottom rail, adding privacy slats.
